What does this mean? It means that the food/energy you eat must be less than the energy you spend. It does not mean that you need to spend hours in a gym and eat only carrot sticks; it means you need to learn what your individual energy requirements are.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Lorie and I am a Nutritionist. I graduated from the University of Guelph, Kemptville Campus and I am a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
I am NOT selling pills or designer foods. My goal as a private nutritionist is to provide you with the tools and knowledge, you will need to lose and maintain weight through out your lifetime.
How is this done? Every person has different energy requirements based on activity level, gender, age, height and weight. With this personal information I can calculate what your energy requirements are and guide you through a healthy a weight loss of 1 -2 lbs per week. Meal plans are designed for you based on your energy needs, and food likes and dislikes; because lets be honest eating should be an enjoyable experience not one of guilt.
